Junior Estimator/Project Engineer

This is your opportunity to join one of South Florida's leading General Contractors as a Jr. Estimator/Project Engineer. You will be a part of a very stable, growing, team and will have multiple opportunities for advancement within the company either in Estimating or Project Management. This position is available at our main office in Cooper City for immediate placement.
Jr. Estimator responsibilities include:

Plan distribution
-
Bid solicitation
-
Maintaining a Subcontractor Database
-
Detailed quantity takeoffs
-
Subcontractor bid analysis
-
Assist Chief Estimator
Project Engineer responsibilities include:
-
Process Submittals
-
Assist with Permit Process
-
Set up Project Files
-
Produce Meeting Minutes
-
Assist Project Manager with Preparation of Change Orders, Contracts and RFI
Please note, this is an entry level position. A college degree in engineering/construction management is preferable, however, candidates with experience will also be considered. The ability to read plans and to develop strong relationships with subcontractors is beneficial.
