The Caribbean Radiation Oncology Center groundbreaking event.
The Caribbean Radiation Oncology Center celebrated their groundbreaking for their future location in Doral, FL. The event which was held on a beautiful Thursday morning brought together the Project Owners & staff, supporters, elected officials, Members of the Beacon Council, the Design Team and the Press.
The day could not have been more beautiful. It was almost as if the clouds and rain were waiting for the event to end before they showed up. ANF Group President Al Fernandez and Vice President Nelson Fernandez along with the project team members were in good spirits as they and the owners Carmen Bigles and Dr. Pedro Serrano-Ojeda, M.D. along with their daughters, shoveled the dirt signaling the official launch of the Caribbean Radiation Oncology Center (CROC) Project.
The ceremony included brief remarks and recognitions from Mr. Luigi Boria, Mayor City of Doral, Jose “Pepe” Diaz, County Commissioner for Miami-Dade and Mr. Larry K. Williams, President/CEO of the Beacon Council.
